Ingredients
  

Cajun Seasoning

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions
 

  • Mix smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  • Drizzle chicken breasts with 1 tablespoon olive oil and rub to coat.
  • Rub the mixed seasoning over all sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Heat the remaining olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the pan is hot, add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
